As you can see, OnlyOneMike (OOM) is undergoing some changes! I am very happy to finally be able to unveil the new look of this site.

If you’re new to my site, you have no idea what I’m talking about, and that’s good too! I’m just so excited.

You’ve probably also noticed I haven’t written anything for a few days. Mainly that’s because I’ve been waiting for the new look and we had a few server problems.

Today all the finishing touches should be finished up. Then the site will be fully functional again and the world will be a better place. Well, at least I’ll feel better.

Here are some new features you’ll want to take advantage of.

-Podcasts

That’s right, I’m getting involved with podcasts. I’ll soon have ALL my articles available to hear (as read by me). I’ll also have podcasts that are totally original material (not available as an article). The podcast page can be found by clicking on the multimedia tab.

-Newsletter

I am very excited about this feature. I am starting a newsletter that offers MORE FREE articles for the special OOM reader. (That means you!) I will send out a newsletter every week or so that contains nuggets of information you will find most useful.

Also, just so some of you know. I have a few people who keep asking me to make this a pay site (as in membership) but I keep turning them down.

Here’s what I’m going to say about it though. If ever I do turn OOM into a paid membership site, I promise that everyone that has joined my newsletter will still continue to get FREE access to all my material.

The only reason I ask you to join is so I know that you’ve been here since “the beginning.” Fair enough?

The newsletter can be found at the bottom of the homepage and also in the sidebar on most other pages. (If it’s not there yet, give it a little, it will be soon!)

- Donate

I had a donate page before, but this time it’s gonna be a little different. If you get something from anything I write and feel like making a donation, GREAT. And just so you know, the money’s not for me. Whatever comes in from this site as a donation I am going to GIVE AWAY to a charity of my choice.

I will also run special charities of the week to give all of us a chance to donate personally to those charities through a link on the site. If you do decide to donate, let me know so we can keep a running total of what we’ve given as a group.

-My Picture

You finally get to see me! Now that my lovely face is looking back at you, we should see a 1000% increase in hits!

 -Google Ads

These little guys pay for this site to operate. I’ve done my best to make them “quiet.” I hope you enjoy the new layout for them.

-RSS

I had a reader email to tell me that we didn’t have a Google RSS feed button, so I’ve added one. I also have tons of other ones that you can choose from. To be honest, I don’t even know what most of them are! (Their on the sidebar.)

-More to Come

As with all things I’m involved in, I’m always looking to make things better and better. If you have suggestions, let me know! I have a few other things in the cooker that I’ll let you know about FIRST in the newsletter, so sign up now.

 -Privacy

I hate spam. As a matter of fact, I probably spend the better part of every morning deleting offers for viagra, a home mortgage, how to get rich quick!, and promises to fix my credit. So, I feel your pain! I will never spam you, share your information with anyone or anything like that. I (OnlyOneMike) will email you when I have something really important to say, and you can take that promise to the bank.

Finally, all I can say is enjoy! And look for new material coming soon. I’m also going to start sharing some “internet marketing” material that I have been learning…you won’t want to miss that if you’re thinking of having an online business.
