Guru Slayer

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

I promoted Guru Slayer this past week. I made out ok. I put in about

$150 in advertising and ending up making $540 total. I didn’t put a
lot of time into but still made out respectable. I also increased my
list but about 100 new subscribers.

Also today I met with the Pastor from the new church I’m attending
and we had an over 4 hour meeting where we discussed plans to
grow the church through means of marketing.

I’m very excited about this prospect, and right now I’m working on
an opt-in page and some other ideas for email follow up to get
people to attend the church.

I’m even including a one-time offer for the people that opt-in to the
site. It’s sort of funny too, because the one time offer is actually an
invite to attend the service that next week!

We’re also implementing a tell-a-friend script which should work out
nicely.

This whole process is going to be fun, enjoyable, and beneficial. We
are tracking our results so in 5 months we can report to the state
officials of the denomination I’m in the results of our campaign.

From there we can package the program and get it in the hands of
all the churches in the state.

Exciting huh?

Oh yeah - about Guru Slayer. I saw a page I really liked, you can
see it here:

I’m Still Here

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

I know I haven’t been posting as much lately, but I am still here, I promise!

I’ve been working full time as an internet marketer, and I thought I’d have
more free time, but truth be told I’m “working” now more than I ever have
before.

That doesn’t mean I’m not having fun though. As a matter of fact, right now
I’m in Atlanta at the Final 4 tournament. In the last few days I’ve watched a
Braves game, visited the Georgia Aquarium, checked out the Coca-Cola
museum, and even spent some time at a really cool bar and grill playing
darts.

And I’ve still got two days left! I’m going to be posting a lot more in the
near future, but I’ll be talking a lot more about marketing, which is something
I didn’t write about much before. If that bothers, you I’m sorry. I’m sure I’ll
still throw out lots of great personal development “stuff” too.

Hope you had a GREAT April Fools Day. We convinced one of my friends
his car was stolen…it was an instant classic. I’m sure he’s already working
on his plan for next year (or maybe sooner).

I’ll be back more often, promise!
